The gadget in detail

Figure 1:
The form factor of the V30T is the same as that of the S98 Pro that I tested before, but the inner components differ significantly. The screen is only slightly larger with a diagonal of 6.58 inches, but the battery capacity has increased significantly to 10800mAh. The V30T is also designed for use outside of dollhouses and is therefore robustly built.
With a fully charged battery, the V30T can play videos received via WLAN for about 18 hours in full screen mode. The 10800mAh battery is then charged from 10% to 80% in 35 minutes with the included 66W charger and USB-C cable. The smartphone and charger heat up to around 39 and 54°C, respectively. 90% battery capacity is reached after 51 minutes.
There are three cameras on the back of the device: the main camera with a resolution of 108MP, a macro camera with 16MP and a night vision camera with 20MP.
The selfie camera on the front takes photos up to 32MP.

My personal conclusion

The V30T from Doogee lasts a particularly long time due to the even larger battery compared to the S98 Pro. The possibility of outsourcing data to a micro SD card or a USB stick makes you independent of cloud storage. The computing power is more than sufficient for your everyday work.
In terms of software, Doogee distributes updates for its devices at irregular intervals. Have a closer look at the manufacturer's website that should provide information about this (and answeres your question indirectly if you can't find anything).
The bootloader can be unlocked, which opens up the possibility of flashing custom ROMs. Unfortunately, it is common practice to exclude devices modified in this way from warranty services. Where are the days gone, when you could feed a computer with any kind of software...
